Meghen Jones's Summer Presentations

Meghen Jones's presentations in summer 2017 included the paper “Reflections on the Current Status of Japanese Art History Studies in American Higher Education,” at the International Conference on Japanese Cultural Studies Outside of Japan– its Current Status and Future Perspectives, at the University of East Anglia and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures in Norwich UK.

Other presentations were “The Ontology and Icon Formation of the Tea Bowl,” for the Nichibunken Evening Seminar at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies, Kyoto, June 8 2017. "Encountering Tea Bowls in Kyoto,” sponsored by the Japan Foundation, and held at the Kyoto city International Foundation on June 20, 2017.
